COVID-19 Assistance Packages & Grant Support

There are multiple grants available to small business owners in WA as they face COVID-19 and repercussions of the virus affect their business.

Applications open now – Small Business Rental Relief Grants: $3,000 rental relief grants are available
- Must be trading with a valid ABN
- Must be able to prove annual turnover of at least $50,000
- Payroll must be less than $4 million
- Provide evidence that the business suffered from a decline of at least 30% turnover for a 4-week (consecutive) period between 01 January 2022 to 30 April 2022 compared to the same period in 2021. If your business was shut during the same period in 2021, you may compare to an alternate period.
- Provide a lease agreement/proof of tenancy in WA
Applications open now – Small Business Hardship Grants: packages vary based on business size
- Must be trading with a valid ABN
- Payroll must be less than $4 million
- Provide evidence that the business suffered from a decline of at least 50% turnover for a 2-week (consecutive) period between 01 January 2022 to 30 April 2022 compared to the same period in 2021. If your business was shut during the same period in 2021, you may compare to an alternate period.
- Sole traders without employees are eligible to receive $3,000
- Businesses with 1-5 employees are eligible to receive $7,500
- Business with 6-19 employees are eligible to receive $20,000
- Businesses with 20+ employees are eligible to receive $50,000
You can receive BOTH the small business rental relief grant AND the small business hardship grant!
