You can use this space to host workshops, launches, fashion runways, photoshoots, and so much more. This space is for you, from us #bestpresentever – and with so many possibilities we’re sure you’ll smash your event business goals.
We’ll provide the instagrammable af vibes, tables and chairs, and the rest is up to you!

If the warehouse and courtyard don’t knock your socks off, then we have a meeting room that will be more your vibe. Still #aestheticaf, the meeting room can fit up to 16 people and the room layout can change to suit your event.
Cosier than the warehouse, you can have a quiet place to hold professional workshops – but don’t let us tell you your creative vision, what would you want to do with the space?
This space can come with a projector and whiteboard by request. Yeah, we got that.

All bookings are a minimum of 4 hours, except for weekday photoshoots (They are a minimum of 2 hours). Additional hours are $40/hour.
Booking time also includes set up and pack away/clean up time. Prices quoted include GST.
YOU’RE WASTE-FREE. WHAT DOES THAT MEAN?
Our mission for Warehouse16 is to make it as sustainable as possible, and a way we’re doing that is making it a waste-free venue. This means that we ask you to please remove and take with you any rubbish created by your hire.
THERE’S A BIG ROLLER DOOR. CAN I HAVE IT OPEN?
The beauty of having a warehouse is we have a big roller door we can open up to bring all that natural light in! But what’s better than 1 roller door? TWO ROLLER DOORS! That’s right, we have two! The front roller door can be used to bring in any equipment you may need and can be left open for the duration of the hire after 5 pm as to respect our neighbour’s place of work. But the back roller door can be open to your convenience!
CAN I BRING MY FOOD?
Absolutely! We have a kitchenette with a fridge and freezer to keep your food cold and fresh. Plus, UberEats delivers here 😉
CAN I BRING ALCOHOL?
Alcohol consumption is permitted in accordance with relevant regulations. If you provide alcohol or permit alcohol to be consumed at your event, you do so at your own risk. The sale of liquor without a suitable license is illegal and therefore strictly prohibited in any venue. If you’re not selling alcohol you do not have to hold an RSA and if you wish to provide alcohol to your attendees you hold full responsibility.
IS IT SMOKE FRIENDLY?
Smoking is NOT permitted inside or at the front of the venue and courtyard. If you wish to smoke, please do so in the parking area.
There is space in front of the warehouse for the hirer to unload any equipment or furniture they wish to bring into the venue. After that, all cars are to be parked in the parking area. A map of the parking area and where Warehouse 16 is located will be emailed to you upon booking. Please direct your attendees to park here as well.
There is a bus stop on Erindale road, just a 2-minute walk from Warehouse 16.
Who needs a babysitter? Bring your kids along and show them what their mumma or dadda does. Please remember that Warehouse 16 is not catered to the safety of children. If minors are to attend an event or workshop they are to be your full responsibility.
We love pooches but unfortunately, Warehouse 16 doesn’t… we ask that you please leave your fuzzy pets at home.
WHAT HAPPENS WHEN I ARRIVE?
Please arrive on the hour of your booking – not before – and please not after as this will cut into your time. When you arrive, a team member of Balance Tax Accountants will greet you and show you around the space. They will provide you with a check-in list that will require your signature.
WHAT HAPPENS WHEN I LEAVE?
At the end of your hire, a team member will be present at the warehouse for lock up and provide you with a check-out list that will require your signature.
Premises must be vacated no later than 10:00 pm.
WHAT CAN I BRING?
You’re welcome to bring whatever you will need to run your workshop or event. This might include music equipment, jukeboxes, decorations, food, drinks, kitchenware, tables, chairs etc.
WHAT WILL BE THERE?
The warehouse has 20 chairs and 8 trestle tables.
The boardroom has 3 trestle tables and 16 chairs.
There is a kitchenette with a fridge and a dishwasher, and 2 fully stocked bathrooms.
All bookings must be paid in full at the time of booking. If a cancellation occurs within 48 hours of the booking date and time, 50% of the amount paid in full at the time of booking will be refunded within 7 days.
I MADE A BOOKING BUT HAVEN’T RECEIVED A CONFIRMATION EMAIL. WHAT DO I DO?
Once a hire application booking is received, Warehouse 16 will confirm the booking via email within seven working days. In the unusual event you do not receive a confirmation after seven working days, please contact us via email.
I WANT TO DO A WORKSHOP OR AN EVENT TODAY.
We love how eager you are but we ask for at least 48 hours notice to ensure everything for your hire is ready and all runs efficiently.

1-Agreement to the contract
1.1 Purpose of hire: The purpose of hire must be lawful and conducted in a manner that does not disrupt surrounding businesses or the general public. If any activities in or around any venue instigate the attendance of the police (during hire or thereafter), a fee may be charged at the discretion of Balance Tax Accountants and future bookings will not be permitted.
1.2 Times of hire: The period of hire will commence and conclude strictly at the agreed times nominated on the ‘Venue Hire Application system’ and the venue must be vacated promptly at the conclusion of the hiring period. An extra charge will be imposed for any additional time used which is not booked in advance.
2-Application and confirmation of booking
2.1 Once a ‘Venue Hire Application booking’ is received, Warehouse 16 will confirm the booking via email within seven (7) working days. In the unusual event you do not receive a confirmation after seven (7) working days, please contact us via email at [email protected]
3-Cancellation of bookings
3.1 All bookings must be paid in full at the time of booking.
3.2 If a cancellation occurs between the booking date and 48 hours of the event start time, 50% of the total amount paid will be refunded within 7 days.
3.3 If a cancellation occurs less than 48 hours prior to the event, 100% of the deposit is forfeited.
4-Access to venue
4.1 Premises may only be occupied during the times specified in the Application For Hire.
4.2 Set up, cleaning and pack up time is to be included within the hire session time; If the venue has been hired until 10:00 PM, the hirer must ensure that the premises are strictly vacated no later than 10:00 PM.
4.3 All goods and equipment provided by the hirer (e.g. music equipment, jukeboxes, decorations, leftover food/drink etc.) must be removed from the premises within the hire time period.
4.4 At the start of the hire time, a team member will greet the hirer at the warehouse for lock up and provide a check-in checklist that requires the hirer’s signature.
5-Public liability insurance
5.1 All hirers holding a public event or providing a public service to the community must provide evidence of their own public liability insurance to a value of $10 million. Hirers will be required to provide a copy of their Public Liability Insurance prior to the event.
5.2 Warehouse 16 and its facilities are not catered to the safety of pets and children. If minors are to attend an event they are the hirers full responsibility. Pets are not permitted at the venue.
6-Cleaning, setting up and packing up
All of the following is required within the period of hire:
6.1 Cleaning and pack up time must be included within the hire session time. The Hirer is responsible for the Set up and Pack up of furniture required by the hirer.
6.2 As Warehouse16 is a waste-free venue, the hirer is responsible for removing any rubbish created by them from the premises.
6.3 If the premises are not cleaned as required at the end of the hire period, cleaning costs will be deducted from the bond accordingly.
6.4 The premises must be left in the condition that the hirer arrived in; floors swept, furniture to its original location, dishes stacked in the dishwasher, kitchenette cleared and clean, and bathrooms left tidy.
7-Smoking and alcohol
7.1 Smoking is NOT permitted inside any part of the venue or courtyard.
7.2 Alcohol consumption is permitted in accordance with relevant regulations. If hirers provide alcohol or permit alcohol to be consumed at their event, they do so at their own risk. The sale of liquor without a suitable license is illegal and therefore strictly prohibited in any venue.

8-Damage to property or premises
8.1 ‘Damage’ is considered as breakages that impair the value, usefulness, or normal function of our venues. A requirement of additional cleaning is also considered under ‘Damages’ in these terms and conditions.
8.2 Any damage that occurs to the premises during the time of hire must be reported to Balance Tax Accountants as soon as possible on the first working day following the hire.
8.3 For any damage incurred by the hirer or one of their invited guests, the cost of repairs will incur an additional charge to cover repair costs.
7-Security and safety
9.1 Hirers are responsible for the security and safety of themselves, their guests and the building and grounds during the time of hire. Hirers are also responsible for the behaviour of guests at their event.
10-Cleaning and packing up
10.1 Premises must be vacated no later than 10:00 PM.
10.2 It is the responsibility of the hirer to ensure that the premises and grounds are left in a clean and tidy condition at the end of the hire and all equipment is returned to its place.
10.3 If the cleaning is not to a suitable standard, the cost of engaging cleaners will apply.
10.4 At the end of the hire, a team member will be present at the warehouse for lock up and provide the hirer with a check-out list that requires the hirer’s signature.
Schedule of Additional Charges:
-Chairs/Tables not cleaned or packed away $50.00
-Additional cleaning of premises $40.00 per hour
-Hirer’s personal items or hired equipment left at premises outside of agreed hire period $80.00 -Rubbish not removed $100.00
-Parking terms not abided by $100.00
-Additional overtime $40 per hour
